It is with great pleasure that we can announce the election results of the Redemptorist of Oceania’s recent Chapter. Fr John Hodgson CSsR has been re-elected as Provincial to lead the Province as missionaries of hope in the footsteps of the Redeemer. The Redemptorists hold elections every 4 years to plan for the upcoming quadrennium with unified leadership.His re-election is an affirmation of how he led the Province through turbulent and unprecedented times with a nurturing focus on how these events were impacting individuals. We look forward to following Fr Hodgson in this quadrennium with renewed hope and zeal as we negotiate our way through this “new normal” as safely as possible.
Supporting Fr Hodgson on this mission will be a newly elected EPC. We congratulate Fr Samsonsius Kono CSsR on being named Provincial Vicar and Fr Vincent Pham CSsR, Fr John Hill CSsR and Fr Vinsensius Lolo CSsR on being appointed consultors. The trust the Province has put in these individuals shows a deep and abiding respect for their character and competencies.
