On Sunday, 6th October, following the Angelus in St Peter’s Square, Pope Francis announced Bishop Mykola Bychok CSsR, Bishop of the Eparchy of Saints Peter and Paul of Melbourne, as one of 21 new Cardinals. This appointment highlights the Church’s universality, and for Bishop Mykola, it’s a profound responsibility.
From June 25 to July 4, the Province of Oceania hosted a Formation Think Tank and a retreat at Galong, NSW. Experts and confreres discussed reimagining initial and lifelong formation, while Fr. Kevin O’Neil, CSsR, led a retreat focused on mercy and our Redemptorist vocation.
